Per-compound reconstitution
Each compound is calculated on its own — different vials, different concentrations, different draws. Use these references, then run your exact numbers on each compound's calculator.
MOTS-c reference
U100 units to draw for each common MOTS-c dose, by vial size, reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. Change the water volume in the calculator above to recompute for your own setup.
| Vial | Concentration | 2.5 mg | 5 mg | 10 mg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 mg | 2.5 mg/mL | 100 u(1 mL) | 200 u(2 mL) | 400 u(4 mL) |
| 10 mg | 5 mg/mL | 50 u(0.5 mL) | 100 u(1 mL) | 200 u(2 mL) |
Educational reference only — not a dose recommendation. Units assume a U100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL on U-100). Always confirm against your own vial, diluent, and clinician or pharmacy instructions.
AOD-9604 reference
U100 units to draw for each common AOD-9604 dose, by vial size, reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water. Change the water volume in the calculator above to recompute for your own setup.
| Vial | Concentration | 250 mcg | 300 mcg | 500 mcg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 mg | 1 mg/mL | 25 u(0.25 mL) | 30 u(0.3 mL) | 50 u(0.5 mL) |
| 5 mg | 2.5 mg/mL | 10 u(0.1 mL) | 12 u(0.12 mL) | 20 u(0.2 mL) |
Educational reference only — not a dose recommendation. Units assume a U100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL on U-100). Always confirm against your own vial, diluent, and clinician or pharmacy instructions.
Two different dose scales
MOTS-c is dosed in the multi-milligram range while AOD-9604 is dosed in micrograms, so at the same vial size and water volume their syringe units differ widely. Calculate each on its own page and dose to your own schedule.
- MOTS-c: mg doses; AOD-9604: mcg doses
- Different concentrations — never share a draw figure
- Calculate each compound independently
Watching MOTS-c volume
MOTS-c doses can fill a whole 1 mL syringe at common concentrations, while AOD-9604 draws are only a few units. Use the per-compound reference tables above, and reconstitute MOTS-c with less water if its draw exceeds your syringe.
- MOTS-c draws can reach a full 1 mL syringe
- AOD-9604 draws are only a few units
- Adjust MOTS-c water to keep its draw within the syringe
